Experiencing the loss of a baby is life-altering, and no one should have to walk that path alone. Our support groups offer an opportunity for you to meet with others who have experienced something similar to yourself and to find support through shared experiences.
We host dedicated Baby Loss Support Groups for anyone grieving the loss of a baby during, or shortly after pregnancy, no matter how long ago your loss occurred. These groups provide a safe place to share, or just listen, and find understanding among others who truly get it.
For those navigating the complex emotions of expecting again, our Pregnancy After Loss Support Groups offer compassion and understanding – It’s okay to feel hope, fear, joy, and grief all at once.
Whether you’re seeking comfort, connection, or simply a place to breathe, you are not alone. Our groups are here to walk alongside you, at your pace and in your own time.
Snowdrops, Baby Loss Support Group
Snowdrops is a peer support group which meets on the last Thursday for every month, between 8 and 9pm as Earls Hall Baptist Church. The group is specifically for families who have lost a baby at the Butterfly suite in Southend Hospital or in the Southend area. Anyone is welcome regardless of circumstances or gestation of loss.
During the session there is no expectation to ‘share’ and you are welcome to bring someone along to support you – we know how daunting it can be. But when you are there you will be with other bereaved parents who ‘get it’ and have gone through something similar to you.
If the group doesn’t feel quite right or you’d like to get in touch before the next group please contact Lindsay on 07884 433807.
We run support and fundraising events throughout the year. Please see below or follow our Facebook page for updates
